Rise Of Nations Update 03.02.12.0800 Error 32769 FIX
This method works for Windows Vista / Windows 7.
1. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Rise of Nations" [or where ever else you installed the game]
2. Locate 'thrones.exe' file in the folder, Right click and go to its properties
3. Click 'Compatibility' and set it to run as 'Windows XP SP3' mode.
4. Click 'OK' to exit the properties window and Run the game as administrator mode.
[Right click on game icon and click 'Run as administrator']

5. Now follow the usual steps to update game. (Gamespy Match making. This time the update will download and install like a charm without halting at 72%)
